Work experience at Russell up
My week at the Russell up company began on Monday the 2nd of July. I was introduced to the office on this day and learnt about controlling money and finances. I learnt about the importance of knowing what money was spent on and how it was spent. In addition, I learnt about office assistance and how this affects the running of a successful business. On Tuesday, I learnt the importance of knowing certain information on bookings. For example, knowing if the consumer has paid the deposit, paid in full or has cancelled their booking. This then resulting in sending emails to the customers informing them of further actions needed to confirm their booking or emails thanking them for their purchase. On Wednesday the 4th of July, I learnt the importance of cleanliness and advertising. Many companies have hygiene issues and here at Russell up, I have learnt that sanitation is key in the physical environment of this company. After products have been used, they should always be cleaned and doubled checked for not only the companies hygiene but for the users too. On the advertising side, owning social media accounts can really boost your companies use to customers. Meaning more bookings and more reviews on how good the company is doing. This advertisement draws in customers and increases the utilization of the company giving the workers there a sense of joy. Overall i have had a great week and look forward to being on site first hand for tomorrows school fete!
